Wheel Balancing

Wheel balancing is a very important step in the refurbishment process, it ensures that weight is distributed equally around the wheel and that the tyre rotates evenly. This involves adding small balancing weights to the rim which counter weight inconsistencies. Incorrectly balanced wheels will cause a vibration that is felt through the steering when travelling above a certain speed. Wheels can be balanced correctly here on our wheel balancing machine at our Wheel Doctor workshop in Crawley.

Here at Wheel Doctor Crawley we offer a full factory finish where your wheels will be completely stripped/dipped, all damage removed and powder coated. This is the only repair that will get rid of your corrosion.
Corrosion is bubbling, flaking & popping of the paint work. Sometimes creates a white milky effect around the centre caps, if not treated it will spread all over the wheel and possibly lead to eating into the cast of your alloys.
It can also cause loss of tyre pressure round the valve caps and cause the tyre not to seal properly.
We are based in Horley but cover Surrey, Sussex, Kent, London
